What this page is

This page is maintained by the owner of SubScoutr to explain what happens when you use the tool. It describes the current practices and platform choices, not a legal certification or audit report.

What we collect

When you submit a Steam URL to analyze, we store the URL, the extracted game name, genre, and the result counts. This is used to understand which games are being researched and to improve the tool.

We also store basic request metadata such as the time of submission, your browser's user-agent string, the referrer page, and a coarse country estimate from the IP address. We do not intentionally collect personal information such as your name, email, or Reddit account.

How long we keep it

Submission logs are kept until they are manually deleted. If you want a submission removed, contact us using the email below.

Cookies and analytics

The site uses Google Analytics to understand aggregate usage and traffic sources. Google Analytics sets cookies and processes visitor data according to its own privacy policy. You can disable Google Analytics cookies through your browser or an opt-out browser add-on.

Hosting and subprocessors

SubScoutr is built and hosted on Lovable Cloud, which provides the backend database, auth, and serverless functions. Lovable Cloud acts as a subprocessor for hosting and data storage. Google Analytics is a separate analytics subprocessor.

Where the service is run

The service is operated from Sweden. The underlying infrastructure and subprocessors may process data in other regions as described in their respective privacy policies.

Your rights and contact

You can ask to see, correct, or delete data we have collected by emailing hello@ignitergrowth.com. We will respond as soon as we can and delete data that is not needed to keep the service running.

Changes

This policy may be updated as the tool or its subprocessors change. The “Last updated” date at the top of the page reflects the latest revision.
