What this page is

This page is maintained by the owner of SubScoutr to explain what happens when you use the tool. It describes the current practices and platform choices, not a legal certification or audit report.

What we collect

When you submit a Steam URL to analyze, we store the URL, the extracted game name, genre, and the result counts. This is used to understand which games are being researched and to improve the tool.

We also store basic request metadata for each submission, such as the time of submission, your browser's user-agent string, and the referrer page. A coarse country estimate may be derived from your connection at request time for aggregate analytics. We do not store IP addresses.

If you choose to email yourself the results, we collect your email address, an optional studio or name, and whether you opted in to receive marketing updates. This information is used only to send the list you requested and, if you opted in, occasional updates about SubScoutr. We do not intentionally collect your Reddit account or other account credentials.

Email delivery

Result emails are sent through Lovable's managed email infrastructure, which uses Mailgun for delivery. Your email address is shared with this service only to deliver the message you requested and to keep a record of the lead for service management.

How long we keep it

We keep data only as long as we need it:

• Submission logs, copy events, and feedback: automatically deleted after 12 months.
• Email leads: kept until you ask us to remove them or until they bounce or unsubscribe.
• A small internal list of IP addresses used by the operator to exclude their own testing traffic: kept until manually removed.

You can request earlier deletion at any time by emailing the address below.

Hosting and subprocessors

SubScoutr is built and hosted on Lovable Cloud, which provides the backend database, auth, and serverless functions. Lovable Cloud acts as a subprocessor for hosting and data storage. Mailgun handles email delivery for result emails.

Where the service is run

The service is operated from Sweden. The underlying infrastructure and subprocessors may process data in other regions as described in their respective privacy policies.

Your rights and contact

You can ask to see, correct, or delete data we have collected by emailing hello@ignitergrowth.com. We will respond as soon as we can and delete data that is not needed to keep the service running.

Changes

This policy may be updated as the tool or its subprocessors change. The “Last updated” date at the top of the page reflects the latest revision.
